In 1975, he also became the Editor-in-chief of the British daily "Deccan Chronicle". He was the only person in the state between 1975 and 1984, and probably one of the few people in the world, who was at the same time, the Editor-in-chief of Hindi and English newspapers. On October 1, 1984, he founded his own Hindi daily newspaper, Amrit Sandesh . Mr. Govindlal Vora ji was down to earth and was one of the best and most outstanding writers in our history.
